"Bart Walker has been teaching our son, Nolan, guitar lessons for 10 months. Nolan has ADHD and he is usually very shy, but he has really come out of his shell in response to Bart's teaching methods. “I first met Bart Walker at a tiny bar in Iowa. He was out supporting his recent album and coming off a big win at the 2012 International Blues Challenge after winning the Gibson Guitar Award (Best Band Guitarist). A great night of entertainment, camaraderie and great guitar playing too. I came away with much respect and decided to keep an eye on this guy.
I started following the Bart Walker Band, Royal Southern Brotherhood, Desert City Ramblers and other adventures he was involved in, everything kept getting better and better which led to his dream gig as Hank Williams Jr’s guitar player.
I’ve played since I was 15, starting as a shredder, moving to jazz combos, classical performance and ultimately turned into a cover band guitarist.
Over the years, a lot of fun, music, and friends-but I started to get bored with my playing, to the point of just being absolutely sick of listening to myself.

Meet Bart Walker
BART WALKER is an award-winning Nashville guitar slinger, singer, song writer and currently lead guitar player for Hank Williams Jr., T. Graham Brown, Mike Farris & the Fortunate Few and Texas Hill.
A prodigy guitar player since the age of four, Bart has brought his sultry, rootsy, deep grooves as right-hand guitar man to country-rocker Bo Bice.
He’s collaborated in the studio with such heavyweights as Dolly Parton, Steve Gorman (Black Crowes), Audley Freed (Cry of Love, Black Crowes, Sheryl Crow) and Robert Kearns (Cry of Love, Lynyrd Skynyrd).
He's played with Stevie Ray Vaughan's original back-up band Double Trouble and was joined in his own touring band by Double Trouble keyboarder Reese Wynans.
Bart has toured all over the US, UK and Europe with The Bart Walker Band, Mike Farris and the Roseland Rhythm Revue, The Waterboys and Royal Southern Brotherhood. He has swapped licks live with people like Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Derek Trucks, Jamey Johnson, Warren Haynes, Buddy Guy, Leeroy Parnell, Blues Traveler, Robert Randolph, Delbert McClinton, Marshal Tucker Band and many others.
